Naftogaz Boosts Transparency with Publication of Gas Import Statistics

Ukraine's Naftogaz has initiated publication of price and volume statistics related to the company’s gas imports. Information is based on the actual costs of gas purchases by Naftogaz.

The company announced that the data will be published on a quarterly basis following one month of the end of each quarter, in line with Naftogaz’ strategy to increase the transparency of its operations.

Average gas import prices will be available in quarterly aggregate form in order to uphold contractual provisions with European suppliers and to safeguard Naftogaz’ negotiating position.

Information about imported gas volumes from Russia and Europe is disclosed on a monthly basis.
