Club of Mozambique.com: Mozambican Government Neglects Natural Gas Price in Estimates of Revenue - Study
Mozambican Centre for Public Integrity (CIP) has accused the government of neglecting possible fluctuations in the natural gas price in estimating the revenue that will flow from the production of this resource, and is advocating the inclusion of a price revision clause in contracts.
The CIP is an NGO dedicated to the promotion of transparency in state affairs. Its report, "Gas Sale Agreements for Liquefied Natural Gas: Price Determination and Implications for State Revenue " assesses liquefied natural gas (LNG) sales contracts. The LNG is to be produced from gas extracted from the Rovuma basin in northern Mozambique.
