Voice of Russia: More Russian gas for Europe

Russian natural gas supplies to Europe are set to jump by 100 billion cubic meters in the next eight years, Gazprom CEO Alexei Miller told PM Vladimir Putin on Thursday.  Miller said that the share of Russian gas on the European energy market last year was up to 27 percent, from 24 percent in 2007.  Additional supplies and lower transport risks will help implement the Nord Stream and other energy projects, Miller added.  MORE
