Focus: Energy Minister - Building Gas Distribution Centre in Bulgaria Another Energy Security Guarantee for Europe

“Bulgaria’s strategic geographic location, the start of procedures on the oil and gas search and exploration in the Black Sea, as well as the speeded up work on the construction of intersystem connectivity between Bulgaria and the neighbouring countries, are perfect preconditions for the establishment of a regional gas distribution centre in Bulgaria.

"The realisation of this concept is yet another guarantee for the energy security of Europe,” Bulgarian Minister of Energy Temenuzhka Popova said speaking at an international Energy Infrastructure Forum held in Copenhagen, Denmark, the press office of the Bulgarian ministry announced.
