LNG Limited Names Chief Development Officer
Australia-listed Liquefied Natural Gas Limited (LNGL) has named Joseph D’Oris as chief development officer, the company said November 13. He will begin at the company November 27.
“In his role, Joe will join LNGL’s corporate leadership team and have overall responsibility for all aspects of commercial development and market, tolling parties and offtake agreements, project development and strategy, and ensuring organisational knowledge regarding market factors impacting global LNG supply and demand,” it said.
With more than 30 years of experience in the energy industry -- specifically focused in LNG and gas and liquid pipelines, he has served in leadership roles in various LNG projects across the world for Nexen and its parent company CNOOC, Shell, Marathon, and Jordan Cove LNG. The latter is a planned project in Oregon in the northwest US.
“We are pleased to welcome Joe to the LNG Limited team and are confident his deep global LNG experience and connections will help us deliver on our Magnolia and Bear Head LNG projects,” LNG Limited managing director and CEO, Greg Vesey, said.
Magnolia and Bear Head are each developing 8mn metric ton/yr or greater LNG export terminals in the Port of Lake Charles, Louisiana, USA, and Richmond County, Nova Scotia, eastern Canada respectively.
