Lithuania Renews Support of Ukraine
Lithuania pledged to support Ukraine with its strains to comply with European standards during a meeting between the two Heads of State.
"Significant attention has been paid to anti-corruption cooperation, issues of economic reforms and the Lithuanian experience in the energy supply diversification. The composition of Ukraine's delegation in these negotiations indicates that we are willing to achieve concrete results," Ukraine’s President Petro Poroshenko said as reported in a note released on Monday.
Poroshenko met with Lithuania’s President Dalia GrybauskaitÄ— in the morning. The parts also discussed consultative assistance and support within the European Commission. The two countries discussed bilateral ties and relations in the framework of the EU, the UN and the OSCE.
Vilnius and Kiev clinched a deal on military cooperation.
