Lane Energy Provides Update on Łebień LE1 Spud Date
Lane Energy, together with ConocoPhillips, is poised to launch Poland’s first shale gas drilling programme next month near Gdansk on the Baltic coast.
Lane recently announced that well and location designs for its first well in the Lębork region in Northern Poland was approved by the Polish Mining Authority last month.
Site construction for the Łebień LE1 exploration well is nearing completion, with a drilling rig scheduled to be mobilised to the location early May, for a targeted mid-May 2010 spud date.
