Nikkei Asian Review: Itochu Abandons Namibian Gas Project

Japan's Itochu will pull out of a natural gas development venture in the southwest African nation of Namibia amid other cuts to its resources business.

Itochu and Japan Oil, Gas and Metals National have held a combined 15% interest in a gas field off Namibia's southern coast since 2007 via a joint venture in the country.
