Iranian Gas Supplies to Iraq to Start in 18 Months
Iranian natural gas supplies to Iraq will likely commence in next 18 months, Fars news agency reported.
Based on an agreement between the two countries, Iran will supply 25 million cubic meters of natural gas per day to Iraq through the Ilam border. The two countries have also discussed plans to constructs a gas pipeline.
According to the agreement, Iran will export $1.7 - 1.8 billion of petroleum and Associated Petroleum Gas (APG) products to Iraq per year, the news agency said.
