Shana: Iran Launches Platform 19C at South Pars
TEHRAN, July 04 (Shana) -- Operator of phase 19 development of the massive South Pars gas field said platform 19C of the phase has started operation and will bring gas recovery from the phase to a billion cubic feet per day once fully operational.
Earlier in 2016, the SPD2 platform of the phase was launched for production of half a billion cubic feet of natural gas from the field.
Masoudi said operation of the platform will bring the phase's daily output to 14 mcm/d to be injected to the national gas trunkline.
Phase 19 development of South Pars is set to produce 50 mcm/d of sweet gas, 75,000 b/d of gas condensate, 400 tons a day of sulfur, 1.05 million tons a year of liquefied petroleum gas and one million tons a year of ethane.
Petropars Limited and Petropars Iran are responsible for onshore installations and drilling operations.
