India's gas consumption down 9% in September
India’s natural gas consumption in September was 5.16bn m3, down 9% year/year, the government said on October 17.
The cumulative consumption in the April-September period, the first half of the 2022-2023 financial year, was 31.48bn m3, down 4.7 % yr/yr.

The total production of natural gas last month was 2.86bn m3, down 1.7% compared with the corresponding month of the previous year. The cumulative production of natural gas in April-September was 17.18bn m3, up 1.7% yr/yr.
