India's gas consumption down 13% in Feb
Indian natural gas consumption in February came to 5.04bn m3, down 12.7% year/year, according to the latest data published by the Indian oil and gas ministry's Petroleum Planning and Analysis Cell (PPAC).
Consumption from April to February was down 6.5% yr/yr to 55.05bn m3. India's fiscal year runs from April until March the following year.

Meanwhile, India’s gas production in February was 2.3bn m3 compared with 2.34bn m3 in the same period of the previous year. Production from April to February was 25.98bn m3, down from 10.7% yr/yr, PPAC said.
