Indian gas output up 23% in Nov
India’s natural gas production during November was 2.87bn m3, up 23.09% year/year, the government said on December 21.
Cumulative natural gas production during the eight months of the 2021-2022 financial year was 22.77bn m3, up 21.78% yr/yr. State-run ONGC was the biggest producer. The company’s output during April-November was 13.78bn m3, down 6.14% yr/yr.
Natural gas production by private companies last month was 893.39mn m3, up 194.05% yr/yr. Cumulative natural gas production during April-November was 7.04bn m3, up 199.8% yr/yr.
