India Apr-Oct natural gas output dips, imports may rise
India's natural gas imports may see a rise as the country's gas output fell 8.4 % to 28.431 billion cubic metres during Apr-Oct 2011 period.
In October, output dropped 7.4 per cent at 4.026 billion cubic metres, as the production from offshore fields including Reliance Industries operated KG-D6 block fell 9.8 per cent to 3.249 billion cubic metres.
Presently, there are two liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) terminals operating in India: Shell (Hazira) and Petronet LNG (Dahej).
