Express: Greens holding back progress

So Green MP Caroline Lucas was arrested in vain? Not at all. Facts and logic don’t feature in her campaign to return us to a pre-Industrial Revolution nirvana. Sadly, Lucas has no sense of history either.

Until the 18th century Sussex was an industrial county, with foresters smelting iron with charcoal from the county’s abundant trees. Not very environmentally friendly. Ms Lucas would, no doubt, have opposed that, too.

Environmental cranks are more interested in the planet than human beings. Just think of all that CO2 we breathe out. There ought to be a law against it. 

And against passing wind, too, because methane is even worse than CO2. 

Cuadrilla’s nonexistent fracking was just a convenient excuse.  MORE
