Gazprom cuts Far Abroad exports by 31% in 6M 2022
Russia's Gazprom reduced gas supplies to the so-called Far Abroad, meaning Europe plus Turkey minus countries of the former Soviet Union, by 31% year/year in the first six months of 2022, the company has reported.
Deliveries to these markets totalled 68.9bn m3, said Gazprom, which has cut off supply to a number of buyers in recent months amid the political fallout from Moscow's war in Ukraine. Gazprom also reduced its gas production by 8.6% to 238.4bn m3 in the six-month period, while its deliveries to the domestic market were unchanged yr/yr.
