Gazprom Considers Third Branch of Nord Stream Pipeline
The deputy head of Russian gas major Gazprom Alexander Medvedev, has said that the company is considering the construction of a third branch of the Nord Stream pipeline, Russian newspaper Voice of Russia has reported.
He also said that the country is ready to supply Europe with all the gas it needs, once it knows the amount required.
Gas will be first run through the pipeline on the 8th of November. An estimated 55 billion cubic metres of gas is due to be transported through the pipeline in the first year.
