Gail to Use Capacity at Petronet's Dahej LNG Terminal
Gail will be allowed to use annually 2.5 million tonnes capacity at Petronet's liquefied natural gas (LNG) plant at Dahej to import the fuel, Reuters has reported Petronet’s chief executive A. K. Balyan as saying.
Gail does not operate an LNG terminal of its own. It has however inked a deal to import 2.5 mt LNG from Gazprom.
Dahej terminal has a capacity of 10 mt, which is expected to go up to 15 mt by 2015. "Gail will get gas at our Dahej terminal. We have given 2.5 million tonne capacity in our Dahej expansion project to GAIL," Balyan told Reuters.
