Explosion in Iran’s Petrochemical Unit
An explosion occurred at Iran’s Maroun Petrochemical Complex, leaving two of its employees injured.
The incident took place early morning today, Fars news agency reported. The two injured were transported to hospital.
More details about the reasons and damages have not been disclosed yet.
In July, one of the employees of the complex was killed in a firing incident.
Maroun Petrochemical Complex is located in southwestern Khuzestan province with an annual production capacity of 1.1 million tons of polyethylene.
