B92: EC "Not Promoting Eastring Pipeline"

The European Commission (EC) is not promoting the Eastring pipeline project which was first proposed and then withdrawn, the EU Delegation in Serbia has said.

"The EC is promoting a plan of gas connection in the central and south-east Europe in which Serbia is actively participating," states the release and adds that the Eastring project was proposed within this initiative but was then withdrawn.
