Marketwatch: Statoil, Shell, Exxon to benefit from European cold snap

Europeans are turning up their thermostats, and share upside for Norway’s Statoil, Royal Dutch Shell PLC , and Exxon Mobil Corp. is still under the radar stateside, analysts at Tudor Pickering Holt said Monday.

That’s thanks to record spot prices for natural gas in Europe. Statoil, Shell and Exxon stand to benefit “on both realizations and volumes,” the analysts at Tudor Pickering Holt said in a note. Wall Street hasn’t taken much notice, they went on.  MORE
