Baltic Course: Estonia decides upon participating in Nord Stream extension in June
Estonia will have to inform by June 18 the states concerned by the Nord Stream AG natural gas pipeline extension project about the wish to participate in the project's environmental effects' evaluation (EEE) process and announce its opinion about the EEE documentation, LETA/Postimees Online reports.
Representatives of Estonian environment ministry, Nord Stream AG and Ramboll Finland meet on Thursday to discuss the project and its cross-border potential effects on Estonia.
The Nord Stream extension project includes up to two additional open sea natural gas pipelines. Estonia is one of the states whose waters the pipeline doesn’t cross but who can participate in the evaluation process. MORE
