Egypt to Resume Gas Exports to Jordan
Egypt is expected to resume natural gas supplies to Jordan next week according to Energy Minister Khalid Touqan.
Natural gas supplies to Jordan from Egypt were halted after an explosion on the Egyptian pipeline network.
Following continuous disconnection of natural gas supplies from Egypt, Jordan is planning to explore the import of liquified natural gas and to install an offshore gas terminal in the southern Red Sea port of Aqaba.
