Dominion head dies day after stepping down

The former chairman, president and CEO of US LNG developer Dominion Energy, Thomas Farrell, has died one day after resigning from his leadership role, the company reported on April 2.

Farrell, aged 66, had been battling cancer and his condition took a turn for the worse in recent weeks. He served as president of Dominion from 2004 and CEO from 2006, before stepping down from both roles last year. However, he continued as the company's chairman until April 1, 2021.
