DNV GL Scoops up UK North Sea Work
Norway's DNV GL said on February 22 it had won a three-year contract from Total for multiple services across the French major's oil and gas operations in the UK North Sea.
DNV GL will provide core services such as verification, classification and flag, risk advisory services and major accident hazard awareness training at the Shetland gas plant, the Elgin-Franklin area and the Alwyn platform. It will also continue providing services at the Culzean and Gryphon facilities, which Total acquired in 2018 through the takeover of Denmark's Maersk Oil. DNV GL was the incumbent safety services provider at Maersk Oil's assets.
