Development Plan for South Pars Last Phase to be Unveiled in Tehran Conference

Detailed plan for development of last phase of South Pars gas field will be unveiled at upcoming Iran Petroleum Contract (IPC) conference to be held in Tehran on November 28-29, according to state owned Shana News.

Negotiations to assign the foreign contractor for the final phase is ongoing, Managing Director of the Iranian Offshore Engineering and Construction Company (IOEC) Gholamreza Manouchehri told the news agency.

Referring to Phase 11 development and Iran-Oman gas pipeline to be carried out by the IOEC, he said both domestic and foreign firms are interested in cooperation with competent authorized partners.

An official in the National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC) said the talks for financing the offshore section of Phase 11 in the joint field have not been finalised, Shana News reported.
