ConocoPhillips beefs up Norwegian security amid drone sightings
US oil major ConocoPhillips announced on September 30 it was elevating the security level and emergency preparedness at its offshore and onshore facilities.
The move comes after Norway's energy minister Terje Aasland said on September 27 that the country was ramping up security at its oil and gas facilities, in light of the sightings of unidentified drones near that infrastructure.
