CNPC unit supplies record gas during winter
PetroChina Southwest Oil and Gas Field Co. has supplied a record 10.14bn m3 of natural to the domestic market in the ongoing winter season, its parent company CNPC said on March 4. The Chinese winter season officially runs from November 1 to March 15.
The company made sure sufficient gas volumes were supplied during the recently concluded Winter Olympics, state-owned energy company CNPC said, with the maximum daily net upload to the nation grid exceeding 25mn m3.

The southwest oil and gas field, which is operated by PetroChina Southwest Oil and Gas Field Company, accounts for about 17% of China’s annual natural gas production.
