Cnooc Moves Ahead with Tianjin Terminal Second Phase
Cnooc Gas and Power has approved the feasibility report pertaining to the development of the second phase of its Tianjin LNG receiving terminal, the company said July 26.
In the second phase, Cnooc Gas and Power, a unit of state-owned Cnooc, will build six tanks of 220,000 m3 and related processing facilities, external pipelines and supporting external power access and water intake and drainage systems. This phase is expected to be ready by 2022, Cnooc Gas and Power said.
Cnooc Gas and Power operates nine LNG import terminals at Tianjin, Shanghai, Ningbo, Putian, Yuedong, Dapeng, Zhuhai, Hainan and Shenzhen. The company has started work on its 10th terminal.
