Clean energy consultant Elevation Energy rebrands
Texas-based clean energy consultant Elevation Energy Group said August 16 it was rebranding as CarbonBetter to align with the energy transition.
Following a trend set by Norwegian energy major Equinor, which in 2018 changed its name from Statoil to remove “oil” from its moniker, Elevation said its name change would reflect the addition of a consulting practice helping companies with the energy transition.

“CarbonBetter, a privately held energy logistics firm with expertise in oil and gas trading and marketing, will help organisations transition to a net-zero emissions future -- a rapidly accelerating shift that will transform companies of all sizes and types,” it said.
CarbonBetter includes clients such as utility company Dominion Energy and the US federal government in its portfolio.
