Chinese LNG imports up 6% in Nov

In November, Chinese LNG imports came in at 6.9mn metric tons, up 5.5% year/year, customs department data published on December 18 showed. The imports were up 11.8% month/month.

During the January-November period, China imported 71.36mn mt of LNG, up 20.6% yr/yr. The customs data showed that pipeline gas imports last month were 3.82mn mt, up 49.1% yr/yr. During the 11 months of the year, pipeline gas imports were 38.4mn mt, up 24.3% yr/yr.
