China's 9M CBM Output Jumps
China’s coalbed methane (CBM) production during the January-September period (9M 2019) was 6.35bn m3, up 16.4% yr/yr, country’s statistics department said last week. Shanxi is China’s primary CBM producing region.
The department said that 9M 2019 output was 87.5% of 2018 total output of 7.26bn m3. During 9M 2019, Shanxi’s CBM production was 4.53bn m3, up 17% yr/yr and accounting for 71.3% of the country’s total output.
