Challenges to Polish Shale Gas Development
U.S. Energy Information Administration has estimated that Polish shale gas resources are the largest in Europe at 5.9 trillion cubic metres.
While the Polish government has shown strong support for shale gas exploration and production, concerns about infrastructure, regulatory and other issues remain as challenges to efficient development.
