BNK to Continue Pursuit of Shale Gas Concessions

Reporting its 2009 Year End Reserve Update, BNK Petroleum Inc. commented that it is continuing its pursuit of additional shale gas concessions in both Eastern and Western Europe.

The Company has acquired 2.1 million gross acres in Europe to date, which are located in four basins. BNK continues to apply for concession grants and is awaiting other potential concession approvals.
