Bank Saderat Iran to Inject $1.5 bn in Two Gas Projects
National Iranian Gas Company (NIGC) has said that Bank Saderat Iran (BSI) will inject 1.5 billion dollars to two gas projects.
Mohammad Reza Qaravi, deputy managing director of NIGC, made the remarks in an interview with Shana saying the two projects include construction of Bid Boland-2 gas processing plant and an ethane unit at Parsian gas plant.
In February 2010, NIGC and BSI signed a contract on building Bid Boland-2 gas processing plant and an ethane unit at Parsian gas processing plant, under its terms BSI will allocate $3.3 billion to the projects, Shana said.
Bid Boland-2 is expected to process 57 million cubic meters of gas, production of 1.5 million tons of ethane for delivery to Gachsaran petrochemical plant, production of 1.5 million tons of LPG and 400 thousand tons of gas liquids are among the targets of Bid Boland-2 gas processing plant’s development plan.
Parsian gas plant, with processing capacity of 80 million cubic meters of gas per day.
