Australia's Metgasco Inks First CSG Supply Deal

Australia’s coal seam gas company Metgasco has entered into a binding agreement for the first sale of gas from its Casino gas project.

Metgasco will supply local dairy manufacturing company Richmond Dairies with gas as energy supply for their manufacturing process.  

Gas sales are planned to commence this year and the term of the agreement is for 10 years.

However, the agreement is subject to Metgasco obtaining a licence to produce coal seam gas and receiving approval to install gas-supply infrastructure at Richmond Dairies' Casino factory.
