Australia Pacific LNG Drives Origin's Output Growth in March Quarter
Origin Energy on Wednesday said its production during the March quarter stood at 32.4 petajoules equivalent (PJe), up 10 per cent compared with corresponding period last year.
According to the company increase in output in March quarter is primarily due to increased contributions from the Australia Pacific LNG project and Otway.
However, when compared to the December quarter, production decreased by 12 per cent in line with lower customer nominations at Otway, Origin said.
Origin also reported on the progress of the Australia Pacific LNG project.
Origin Chief Executive Officer LNG, David Baldwin said, "Australia Pacific LNG remains on track to deliver first LNG in mid-2015 with the Upstream component approximately 67 per cent complete and the Downstream component approximately 68 per cent complete."
On the financial side, company’s sales revenue during the March quarter stood at $253 million, up 27 per cent on year.
