Adriatic LNG Appoints New Chief

Adriatic LNG said September 25 it has appointed Tim Kelly as managing director, succeeding Suresh Jagadesan. Kelly was previously marine operations manager at ExxonMobil’s Papua New Guinea LNG.

ExxonMobil, Qatar Petroleum and Italian gas grid Snam co-own Adriatic LNG, with respective shares of 70.7%, 22% and 7.3%.

Since opening in autumn 2009, the facility has regasified more than 51bn m3 originating from seven countries: Qatar, Egypt, Trinidad & Tobago, Equatorial Guinea, Norway, Nigeria and the US.
