Trend.Az: Turkish PM: Turkey plans to invest $100 billion in energy
Turkey is planning to invest around $100 billion in the energy sector of the country over the next 10 years, Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan said to delegates at the World Energy Summit, which began on Friday in Istanbul, the newspaper Zaman reported.
Erdogan said Turkey's main goal in this issue is to attract investment from the private sector.
He added that Turkey supports the early implementation of the Nabucco project and others along the Southern Gas Corridor which will strengthen the role of the country. MORE
